Dear FutureMe,
I’ll make this short, simple, sweet, and to the point. I love you. Right now, as a Freshman in college, I’m slowly but surely beginning to change my life and it’s only been a couple of months. In three years from now when you receive this, it will have been 36 months. I can only wonder what adventures and greatness we will have experienced during that amount of time. I’m sure there’ll be lots of hardship, heartbreak and sadness, but also laughter and joy. I hope we wake up in the morning and love ourselves. I hope we’re consistent with the gym turning our Dad-bod into a Father-figure. I hope we go and challenge ourselves daily. I hope we’re kind to everyone and show them all unconditional love without discrimination. And last but not least, I hope when you read this, that you can smile towards the future with hope and not towards the past with regret. I believe in you, I love you, and you deserve everything you’ve ever wanted. Keep God in mind.
Love,
Nick
