I am you. I am you, but I’m sixteen years old and in my junior year of high school. How much has time taken and given to you? Right now, I’m happier than I’ve ever been. My back hurts, and your back probably hurts as well. I’m ignoring a club, and missing a club that I like more, newspaper and D&D respectively. I think my future is going to be excellent; I’m intelligent, motivated, kind and extremely passionate about basically everything to do with life and being alive right now. I particularly enjoy Von Goethe, Memento Mori philosophy and U.S. history right now. What are you reading up on? I want you to be specialising in crusades or Medieval poetry for your degree; are you even studying Medieval History? What do you want to be now? Is there anything I should’ve done?
Maybe you remember all of this, but if you don’t, here’s the summary for grade 11, up to November the 1st. You’ve been a junior for 2 months. There’s a guy. Did you do anything at all to get with him? Are you seeing anyone right now? If we lived in a perfect world, you’d be with him right now, but I don’t know if that’s likely. You just watched Marlowe’s Faustus with your best friend; is Chloe still there? How’s Vanya doing? I have so much to ask to learn from you, but just remember this:
Remain Catholic no matter what, because Christ is the best thing that’s happened to us and we do not want to lose sight of him. Remain happy, because nothing is ever that serious. Remain motivated and know that you’re gonna get into that Master’s program. Just actually be yourself; we’re both doing great, hopefully. I hope I didn’t change too much. I love you.
