Dear FutureMe,
I’m currently a few beers deep at a hotel in Scottsdale, AZ where unfortunately you have to stay away from your wife for the time being. You’re running the new McDonalds on Cave Creek Rd and Carefree highway. You’ve just had to demo the entire kitchen floor and wall of your house before leaving for the week. You’re stressed about work, your house and dealing with some personal issues.
Kelly and you have just started fertility treatments a few weeks ago. I’m really hoping that it will all be ok and by the time you’re reading this you’ll have a child or two of your own with your beautiful wife Kelly. Fingers crossed they’re redheads like your wife.
You’re making $32/hour right now in your 8th year at Goodman. Life is good, but not great. You miss your wife and friends being away from home so much. It’ll be back to normal when this job is done. And then on to the next.
I hope you’re happy. I hope you never forget that your wife Kelly is the best thing about our life. I hope you’re alive to read this. Life happens. We feel down sometimes. But it will all be ok. I love you. I’m proud of you.
