A letter from Oct 10, 2023

Dear Future Me, hows it going? its not too great for me. no, im being dramatic, today was just a bad day. over-all everythings pretty good. im in a relationship, i hope i still am by the time i get this again. i finally got my drivers lisence this year, i changed from amis to lukio and ive never been happier at school than im now. sure some things suck but friends make it all worth it. what else? i recently started working out again. i was supposed to go today too but i got too upset because i was pulled out of class to go. then i got misgendered by the english teacher AGAIN and then dropped my phone in the toilet. today hasnt been fun. i hope tomorrow is better. have i transitioned yet? i was supposed to go on t this month but it looks like i wont. i hope things are better when youre reading this. i hope you have a beard and your own apartment with a cat where you can eat on the couch with a cat on your lap. i hope the future is better. i hope i dont wake up wishing that they would be over already anymore. i hope i can go swimming with my shirt off. i hope i can eat whenever i want to. i hope im not scared to go home and most of all, i hope im not alone. i hope the future is better. ~Dan, 2023
