I am celebrating my first teacher's day at a public school! I'm happy but I hope the new me is happier. I feel like I don't belong to this country and my soul craves for love, family and affection. I hope you're in the US and you're finally married to him. Maybe you even have kids? I am sure that you have overcome the long-distance relationship. It is not a joke, it is definitely difficult. However, 9000+ kilometres is not an excuse when you truly love each other. I hope you put yourself first and you're happy with your current job. Perhaps you're doing your PhD or working in an educational organization. I have a lot of hopes and dreams and I only hope that they've all come true within these three years. Whatever the future holds for you... Just know that it's for the best. Love you! Best, 22 year old you.
