Dear 22 year old me, TWENTY TWOOOO-OOOO-OOOOOOO /Taylor Happy birthday!! Welcome to your Taylor year (or Era if you will). Whenever someone asks you how old you are, I hope you do the "Twenty Two" jingle. SO onto the nitty gritty. I'm not even going to ask you if you're still friends with The Fern because you are. You ******* better be. I hope you appreciate them to the ends of the earth, because that is what he deserves. The most incredible person I've ever known. In January (2024) it'll be 2 years of his friendship. Which is crazy, because it feels like I've known them for so much longer. Give them a huge hug for me next time you see them. They deserve it so much. Tell them you love them. Don't ever let him feel underappreciated, they deserve to know how much they're loved. Are you and Skyler still together? I genuinely hope you are, I just wonder if the distance could sustain things. I wonder if you have moved in with each other... Oooooooooooo boy. I know me (past you) wants to move in with them really bad LOL I wish we could live together right now without any problems. But it hasn't even been a year yet. BUT HEY! SKYLER IS NOW OFFICIALLY THE LONGEST RELATIONSHIP WE'VE EVER HAD, THAT'S WILD. I think previous longest was Theo at 4 months, and October 19th will be our 5 month anniversary. November will be 6 months, that's HALF A YEAR BROOOOO it's insane how happy I am. 2023 really was our year. Hopefully it's not a plateau, and keeps going up from here. Because we deserve it, just a little bit of a break. Please... Work has been kinda crazy, I started my 2SLGBTQIA+ Circle this year. I hope it's still going! And that you have an actual name for it by now lmaooo. Transitional Housing started this year, and I'm the full time Social Media Manager and Peer Support worker (got cards and everything). It's been cool to make new friends at Housing, (Shay and Shantal) they're so nice. I haven't hung out with Shantal outside of work at all yet, but Shay has become very close. We hang out a bunch, and they've met both Finn and Skyler too. It's been cool to have a friend group again. I haven't had that in like... Years lmao. But to be an adult and have a friend group is much different than in high school. /pos It's scary, because these are like the people I'm going to have in my life for a long time. And they don't even HAVE to be with me. Like we're not stuck in a class, or seeing each other in the halls everyday. But they just choose me. Because they like being around me. That's something little me would've never understood. Or even believed. But I'm so happy that I can now. I hope you're still friends with Shay now, and El. They're cool people. How's the new home? I mean I don't know where you ended up, we haven't even packed to move yet (even though we have to be out of here by December 1st lol). I wonder if you're still with Mom, or if you did end up moving in with Skyler or even Finn? It's a big thought. ALSOOOOO do you have your passport yet? Have you been out of the country or at least out of the province yet? I know it's only been 2 years, but I was hoping to go to England in 2024 to see Paige. I know money could be tight though, so don't fret if you didn't make it, I hope you'll be able to soon. Hopefully by 2030 you've been out there. I wonder how family is doing, Grammy had all the issues with her cancer and the colostomy bag this year. I hope she's still kicking, but if she's not, I'm very sorry. I hope Dad is okay. Both with his leg and with Grammy. I know he's been really pushing himself this year with her. It's hard for him, I know it. I hope Syd and Bruce are also alive, but if they're not I'm very sorry again. Either way, I hope you show them the love they deserve. Owen will be 2 this year! That's crazy, little rascal getting so big already. I love him so much, and being able to finally have a name for what I want him to call me is such a huge relief. Titi just feels so right. Aurora and Amara still haven't really grasped it, but it doesn't surprise me. They're pretty old now so it might be hard. And who knows how much Andi is encouraging it lmao. Yeah we're still not on greatest of terms, but she's pregnant right now so that's great. With Justin's kid! I wish I could say that exclamation mark was with happiness. I guess that kid will be able to call me Titi lol. That is if I still talk to Andi. I hardly talk to Sam, with her living in Woodstock now. But I wanna make an effort to see her more often. Finn wants to come with me too which is really sweet of them. Anyways, I don't know what else to really cover. Kinda got all the bases, and now I'm at 900 words LOL woopsie. Nevertheless, I hope 22 treats you well. I haven't even been 20 for a month yet, but I have a good feeling about it. So, cheers to Taylor year. I love you so much. - 20 year old you.
