A letter from Sep 29, 2023

Dear FutureMe, I am a Freshman at Huntington University now, I am taking lots of classes and I think it is pretty easy. My goal is to pass all of classes and make friends while I am here. I have lots of friends already, including my roommate Lindsey we have lots of fun in our dorm having dance parties and have shower parties in the basement showers that nobody else knows about lol. The Starbucks in this town is a little too convenient, and I am also working on getting a job although nobody has reached out :( I have been listening to lots of worship music since I have been here which is great I love worship, and I love Chapel!!! I go home every weekend so I can go home and see my handsome boyfriend Jaron and we go to church together every Sunday. I leave on Fridays at 2 because I only have one class and normally I see Jaron fairly soon after that. College has been a big adjustment for our relationship because we used to see each other every Wednesday which we can't do while I am here obviously but we call every night which is good for our relationship. This experience is only making us stronger I know and by the time I read this letter hopefully we will be engaged!!!! I will be a nurse or almost a nurse when I get to read this letter again which is super exciting because that is the whole reason I am here, I want to be a nurse so bad, I want to help the kids like me. I want to see the smiles on the kids faces when I get to sit by their side and help them through whatever it is. My heart was made to me a nurse, this is my calling. Anyways I hope you forgot about this letter by now lol I always enjoy reading this kind of stuff, hopefully I don't close the email I sent it to that would be bad lol.
