Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Lyubak, It's your birthday and your second FutureMe letter. Apparently you love this thing, huh? Good for you. Now, let me tell you a few words that would help you make your life at least a tad bit better than it may be right now. I know it's hard for you to stay calm, all-wise and above even the little challenges in life. You tend to be quite dramatic when you get scared. Fortunately, more often than not it's all in your head and those worries and fears are a byproduct of your expectations, comparisons and insecurities. Now, read closer, you moron! Kidding, just pay attention, and think about kebabcheta after you're done with the letter, okay? It's okay to be human; to be imperfect by making so-called mistakes or wrong choices. See, there are no mistakes in life except for one - choosing not to live because it's too hard to deal with whatever life throws at you. Listen, everything else that seems like mistakes are pure golden lessons. They will teach you so much more than not doing 'mistakes'. Now, don't take it as a green light to **** up every second and make excuses that you're an avid student. Don'be a fool, apply your mind! You're having an especially hard time with anger because at the root of it you're a disappointed person. Your perspective of life doesn't align with reality and that's more than okay. You need to understand that existence is multi-faceted and it's not all yours. You're part of it and you need to take it with a grain of salt that it's much more complex than you could imagine. With that said, be humble and find understanding in your heart. Things are the way they are for reasons beyond yourself. Accept it and move on even though it's hard. You're allowed to NOT feel okay every once in a while. That's part of how emotions work. Just don't get hung up on past memories expanded with your own twists to make them even more effective and souring your mood or replaying them every day. Or both... It doesn't do you justice, man. I know it's cliche but after reading this stop in your tracks and look around. I'm sure you can name more than 10 things to be super grateful about. Why not do it. For you, for your heart and especially your soul. You have goodness in you, man. Don't lift those brows in doubt. You really do have it. But it's buried beneath negativity. While I can't give you exact step-by-step tutorial on fixing it, I can tell you this: Life is like a huge MMORPG. You love those because there are many adventures, tough quests and amazing rewards waiting to be found. You are a character in that game and it's your choice how you shall progress. Yes, there are sudden shifts that you can't predict and you'd have to adapt to them. But as hard as it is take grasp it - it is what it is, man. It's easier to write than really accept it but you don't have many other options in that regard. Whatever happens in your journey don't forget to re-ignite your light and move forward even in the thickest of the dark. Muster courage not only for you, but also your wife. Oh, and by the way, merry that woman, man! She is the best gift you've been given. Seal your bond together before the universe. It'd be fun! I guess you're getting bored with this novel but I have a few wishes to ask and please, please, please respect them cause time flies faster and you're not 15 anymore! Here it goes: 1. Whatever happens in your life, always keep close to your heart your wife, Misoni, 3D sculpting, sports (you must be quite the MTB rider by now, no?) and an open mind. 2. Keep learning that anatomy, man! I want you to practice the ins and outs of human and animal anatomy cause when you gain more knowledge you'd be able to sculpt tremendously cool creatures. Don't fret about the technicalities like retopo, UVs and so on. Just keep sculpting and get very, very good at it. Be sure to practice every day and remember the Atomic Habits book (little effort over a long stretch compounds to a dramatic change). On that note, don't forget to make your studies interesting and fun. Engage with them and finish every week at least 1 thing. It always feel good when you have something finished! 3. Pay close attention to your health. Eat food that keeps you in shape and optimizes your brain and energy levels. It's okay to have something sweet every once in a while but always prioritize your health. You know how expensive it is! 4. Always find time for learning. Not just sculpting but learning to be a better person. You're not that good with listening and understanding, for example. Work on it cause you've been blessed to have amazing people around yourself. Be there for them and cherish them. 5. I don't know what's your financial situation now. You've been dealing with less money so many years and I hope you're getting by nicely. If you have spare money for travel adventures, please, travel with your wife as much as you can. Your soul needs it. Your body asks for it cause this way you recharge. But if you're low on the cash front, then go out in the park, sit near the trees and just listen for the small things - the branches, the leaves, the breeze... 6. Learn to be okay with flexibility because life doesn't happen the way you want it. I'm not saying it's easy, though. Just leave some room in your mind for that idea. 7. Always be yourself, man! You've been doing a great job on this one and I need you to grow even further. Don't be afraid to voice your opinion when somebody tresspasses over your boundiries. Defend yourself, your honor and your wife's. I know you're not into confrontations but it's your life, your mental health, so pick your fights and strike when you have no other choice! 8. Don't you dare to live with regrets in your heart. Like I told you, everything is a lesson. Simple as that, harder to swallow. But it's the truth of the matter. 9. Remember - honesty above trying to appear cool/acceptable/ etc. Be okay to be imperfect. At least you'd be really you! And don't give a single fak about people's opinions. Really, it's a waste of energy... 10. I ran out of more things to say but I didn't want to end on the 9th point, so I decided to write an empty one. Actually, it's not in vain cause I want you to be able go fulfill things. To finish even though it's 'not' the best you've got. There will always be more to do/improve but it's better to complete stuff than staying in a never-ending circle of perfecting things. Man, I'm done with this! So you are, woohoo! Now go celebrate and enjoy yourself, buddie. I'm sure you're entitled to have some fun. Cheers, kiss your wife and hug that furry ball Darky!
