Hello ********,
I’ve just sat and read the letter I sent to myself in 2020 (when I was 20 and the whole world was shutting down around you) to 23 year old you (current age).
I was obscenely struck by how much had and hadn’t occurred in those 3 years.
Travelling? Nah.
Uni? YEAH !! ACTUALLY!! 2nd year approaching fast.
Lost that weight? Yeah, lost too much, gained some back. A sensitive topic.
Is everyone healthy? Ha well. Mum and dad have both put you through the ringer with health anxiety this year, haven’t they.
Mums embolism. Dads Liver Disease, Stroke and as of yesterday Cancer. At this moment in time, we don’t know how much (if at all) it had spread. There is possibility it’s in his lungs, and his bladder, his kidneys. This could be it. This could be what takes him. It feels like it could be. Please, if he is gone by the time you are reading this, don’t be too hard on yourself, don’t stress yourself out, grieve if you need to. Let go of those tears, and that anger, and denial. It won’t do you any good.
These next few years are going to feel so uncertain. You’ll be okay. I’m manifesting it.
By the time you are reading this you’ll be… 26 😳😳😳😳. Mid Twenties typa ***. Did you finish uni? What classification did you get?? What ARE YOU DOING NOW? Masters, PGCE???
Talk soon.
