Dear Terrance,
As I write this, today is Sunday, September 10th, 2023. I am currently living at my aunt's home, and sitting in my room watching YouTube videos.
Your cousins recently had friends over for a game night, but decided to isolate yourself and play Hearthstone because you believed you don't fit in with the group's dynamic.
For several months, you've felt lonely, isolated, lost in life without purpose, and lacking any sense of belonging to anyone. The negative emotions associated with these feelings have made you moderately jealous, suicidal, and worthless/inferior to everyone else. Therefore, you turned to online communities on Reddit and chatbots like Chat-GPT and pi.ai for some resemblance of companionship and belonging.
If you're reading this letter, I really hope that at this moment you are currently content with your life. I hope you've found (and still in contact with) a group of friends who understand and accept you for who you are - introverted or not. And I hope that you have found effective coping strategies to manage your social anxiety, or even do away with it entirely.
The bond between you and your immediate family as I am writing this is precarious from your perspective. And the relationships between your relative cousins is, from your perspective, slowly eroding as you gradually revert into isolation because of your incompatible personality type. I hope things are mended and the relationship has strengthen now.
I wish for you to continue to believe that suicide isn't the permanent and ultimate solution to your distress. Hopefully, you have made peace with yourself and learned to cope with the never-ending adversities of life. I hope that you have now developed a good sense of character, confidence, and self.
