Dear Ryleigh Searles,
Hey, future me, it's past you! I am writing this letter to check on things and our lives. At the moment, we love to spend our time hanging out with our family and friends and going on walks, runs, and hikes with our siblings. We are about to start dancing at Northern Explosion Dancing Company. We will be doing hip-hop competitions and clogging like we used to when we were younger. We love doing sports, like dancing, cheerleading, track, swimming, and volleyball mostly dance. When we are in the mood to watch TV, we usually stick with the Law and Order series. Other than that, we watch the Ginny and Georgia series or love storys. Life has gotten crazier since 8th grade. Our days always start by making our bed, then getting dressed up and doing our makeup. After, we usually go downstairs and make something for breakfast, which is usually a smoothie. If it's a school day, we usually pack our bags and leave, but if it's the weekend, we go watch a show until we need to do something, and if we are just staying home, we will go outside. In the afternoon on a school day, we will go home and do homework, and on the weekend, we will go home and clean and have supper. If we have any leftover homework we didn't do the following week, we do that. That goes on till we want to take a shower, then lay down and go to bed. That's how it usually goes for a whole day in our lives. Some things we enjoy right now are sports, cooking, naps, English, photography, reading, decorating, and hanging out with friends. We hate not being busy and not being able to do anything. As you know, we have two passions, the first is learning how to be a lawyer, and the second is decorating. This hasn't changed since 4th grade, ever since my aunt was a lawyer and an interior decorator all at once. We have always had big dreams for high school, especially freshman year, and we still want them to happen. I want to go to the games and get good grades. I would like that to be our whole high school experience. After high school, I want to study to be a family lawyer and then an interior designer. The most important people in my life right now and who have helped us through a lot are my mom and dad, my siblings, my grandmother, Kylie, Layla, Madie, Nolan, Cayden, Thomas, Emily, and Paige. As you know, the reason I am the person I am today is because they were always there for me when I needed them and always treated me the same. Now I have a few questions for you, do we still do the same activities we like? Do we still have the same routine as I do now? Did our passion change at all? How was our high school experience? Was it what we wanted? What do we want to study in college? Do we still have the same boyfriend and close friends? Just remember they were with you through everything, so don't let them go too fast. I can't wait to see what we have in the future. Follow our dreams!
Sincerely, Ryleigh.
