A letter from Sep 06, 2023

Dear future me, please have a job before you start college and sign yourself into one. Though you may go through struggles in life I believe we can persevere through it. I’ll admit I’m struggling in 8th grade a bit, but I know as I grow older It may get worse. I want you to be a future journalist or judge. I know you’ll be successful also. I know there's a good person in you but that person needs time to gloom. Start working and ask your mom to build a savings account and help you cook as you grow older. This tends to be a problem I struggle with now. Nevertheless, I believe you can succeed in your goals in life. I’m writing this letter to you because I know there's gonna be a time in life when you’re struggling and suffering in silence. But just know I was in your shoes 3 years ago from now. Don’t be afraid to take on challenges, Makayla.
