Dear FutureMe,
So, at the time of writing this, it is 11:26 pm on Friday, the day before your uncle's memorial. If you've actually forgotten (which, knowing me, you have), today is August 18, 2023. By the time you get this, it should be 2026 which means... ****, I'll be 22 lmao.... I think. I'm too tired at the moment to check my math. Anyway, I'm hoping you're doing well enough in college. It was exciting for me back in August, but maybe, in the future, it's just another day, y'know? Anyway, keep chipping away at it, even when all feels useless or like its dragging you down. I know that experience well from high school. Because as ironic as it is, here, it isn't about the journey, it's about the destination. Focus on what you want to do in life and make that your motivation. I know it sounds hard, that it sounds easier said than done; believe me, I know, but sometimes, it's that simple. I'm running out of things to type so, pursue your dream, whatever that dream turns out to be. Acting, writing, coding, whatever. If it makes you happy, and it doesn't hurt other people, do it. Do it and enjoy life.
