A letter from Aug 18, 2023

Dear FutureMe, hi queen! I hope you're doing well and are still focused on your studies like you have been since day 1. I hope you haven't let any boy come between anything. Right now I am scared for my algebra two class and AP world lol! Although with Izzy I'm sure it'll be alright! Izzy's your bsf btw, I hope that hasn't changed! I'm super excited for my first year of high school though! I know this year is going to fly by and so are all my years of high school. So far I want to get into UM but that's only possible if I have a full ride. If not we're going to nursing school in FIU because they're great too and my dad is there! I hope to achieve getting straight A's and being top 5% or 10% of my class. I know high school is going to teach me many things. Good or bad, and I hope to have realizations that will impact my life for the better. And remember everything is possible through God, and the future me if you thought any different or if you're not as close to God right now, please step foot in a church right now and pray. Because he is the reason you are here. I hope that by now I have passed my classes and I am thinking about the colleges I want to apply to and the scholarships. Right now I want to be a doctor and I have wanted to for so long. So if that changed I'd be surprised but everything happens for a reason. If you're feeling discouraged or feel like you can do it just remember this time and how you felt, you've wanted to make a difference in the world since day 1 so don't stop now when you're so close to the finish line. Remember to keep the ones who love you and you love close, they will be the ones who will drag you out when it gets hard. I hope you've maintained the close relationships you've always had with your family. Especially your brothers. Whatever they are doing or wherever they are never permit yourself to stop talking to them. I hope they've built a beautiful family and they are thriving in life. And if they haven't built that family yet, God has another calling for them, and you are their family so never permit yourself to separate from them. They are your blood and no one can understand you like they do. And your parents always stick by them because they have been guiding you for years and now is not the time to let go. They will always be there and that's all you need. And if my grandmas are watching me from the sky right now I know they are with me reading this right now and just know they love you so much. You are so special and so loved never be discouraged and keep reaching for your dreams!
