A letter from August 16th, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Today I am at my father's place. So many things have happened. My father's girlfriend left him and took off with house furniture. He is not well at all. Although I am happy that his work is picking up. I love seeing him laugh. He is a good man, just that sometimes it's hard for people to see that in his point of view. I don't see that sometimes too. But he is. And I am happy to be here and stay w him all this while. He loved my cooking for the first time in a long time. In fact he's never liked my cooking. That says something right?. I love spending time with him. It gives HiIM joy as it gives me joy too. I hope when you read this you will remember how it felt to stay w him. Have his time and feel his love first hand. I also pray that he lives on till he sees me succeed.
