A letter from Aug 08, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Sooo….this is kinda odd but whatever. By the time I will receive this letter I will be 2 days away from turning 21. You should be done with school. Ik now I’m not the type of guy to party much but do it go out have fun because we earned it. So many hardships I’ve had and you probably had in the past 2-3 years. Right now I’m struggling j feel like I’m drowning in so much that it’s hard to control everything going on but I’m struggling for you. You deserve everything coming to you. The good AND the bad because the experiences shape us. I currently have 2 jobs and school. Stopped talking to A recently. Kinda sucks but I think back and know it wasn’t gonna work out so I’m glad we stepped back. So good job if you got a girl I’m building our confidence, mind, and body so you should thank me for that lmao. Anyways in case we’re down in the future just know I’m proud of us. And I don’t mean that like oh so inspiring and nice. Like I’m beating deadass. We’ve had it tough and we always come out on top. Just know that whatever we’re struggling with it’s for our future self. Have a good 21st man.
