Dear Miss Graduate,
You have done it (I hope haha)! I know how along you have been waiting for this day to come and start your big girl lifestyle, but I really hope you remembered to enjoy and soak in your youth. Do not dream and long for the future or what could have been you will never be happy then.
Also I am realizing this now but I have a feeling you'll be good about this at this point, listen to mom. She knows, she always does. Are you still friends with everyone from Year 1? What about Bellwood?
Knowing me either you will have a perfect plan for after grad or you'll be a mess, either way do not let anyone pressure you, or alter your mindset about what you really want. Easier for me to say this now when I still have three years to make solid plans, but you've gone too long trying to satisfy everyone round you, and feel only mediocre yourself.
Put yourself first always. Do not swim oceans for people who wouldn't walk across a bridge for you.
How we looking is the real question, hopefully better? Not that I don't look banging right now but we can always improve with age. Take care of yourself, you are the most steady figure in your life, love her, nurture her, listen to her.
Stay skinny too.
And love freely, let yourself go and experience everything you want. Do not let anything and more importantly ANYONE hold you back from our life long dreams of traveling the world, and falling in love.
Do not forget we have another letter coming from here in 2030 that we wrote in 2020, who knows whats going on there, that was an interesting time. Still love her nonetheless.
You are intelligent, caring, nurturing, lovable, loyal, strategic, aggressive, beautiful, and most of all absolutely glorious.
I love you, my number 1 girl. I am so ******* proud of you, and everything you have accomplished in these 4 years. I know how hard you are on yourself and how you always think you could have gone to a better school, done more work, gone more places. But it is all enough, you will go so far. Your time will come.
