A letter from Aug 05, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Right now you’re a high school junior sitting in the busted up van with your parents. Actually, junior year hasn’t happened yet, i hope you remember it with good memories. Please let me know how SAT’s went!! It’s what I’m most nervous about. At this moment I’ve never had a boyfriend, I hope you’ve got to experience that at least once. It makes me feel a bit unlovable but hopefully you found an old-fashioned guy that fulfills your childhood fantasy of the perfect boyfriend. How was graduating? How’s college? If you even decided to go. I hope you did. Right now my dream is to be a criminal psychologist, please don’t disappoint me by saying you dropped out or something. Are mom and dads wrinkles more defined now? Try calling them to say you love them. There’s so many things I want to ask you about. I want to live the next few years happy, let me know if it happened.
