A letter from Aug 01, 2023

Time Travelled — over 2 years

Peaceful right?

To my 20-year-old self, Hi, I'm 17 years old and today is August 1, 2023. I'm currently playing a Novo Amor playlist through the speaker in my room and it inspired me to write this after thinking for months about the perfect letter to give to my future self. We still have Jack, Blue, Millie, Ginger, Grey, Masha, and Oreo as pets. I'm scared of the day when we'll lose them. Our family feels like it'll fall apart soon. We have an unstable mental health since we go through so many downs. And we think we're alone and lonely. We hate it, obviously, because we're left with thoughts that we do not want to think about. But imagine, we are in a car driving or maybe at the passenger seat looking out the window with the air blowing on our face. We are in college already. Maybe we're close to graduating. It feels different. It feels like it's healing both of us. It feels like a new life. We finally feel happy, even for a short time. I wish we could find the reason to romanticise our lives instead of dreading the future. I wish we would stop for a while to enjoy life. I wish we found the career that we want. I wish the bad feelings are gone by now. I wish we found a new series, film, or book to love. I wish we have a favorite song. I wish we knew how to style our clothes. I wish we still love animals. I wish we have the opportunity to live life. I wish we finally have the reason to be proud of ourselves. I hope all of our wishes comes true. Happy 20th birthday! You are doing so well for reaching this point of our lives. Keep going. We still have a lot to achieve and prove. Till next time. See you when I see you.
