Dear FutureMe, hello! i am you from the year 2023, writing a heartfelt letter to 2026 me (if i’m still alive at this year). i’d start by telling things abt you from this moment, you’ve written this letter on July, 12, 2023 at 3:54am. and no, not because you just woke up but because that’s the time (or more than that) you sleep, hon.. and you’ve been doing this for the past 3years, since the pandemic and your depression happened. so here you are, hoping and praying for the better you for the next 3years! sana, hindi ka na nagpupuyat nang todo. sana, ipinagpapahinga mo na sarili mo. sana, bumalik na sa dati body clock mo at sana, healthy ka’t maayos ang kalagayan. also, you’re now on your 2nd year of college sa darating na pasukan, and you chose the IT as your course, right? uh, i know this is not what you really wanted, but i hope the future you will survive in this course. i pray that your older sister won’t get tired of supporting, i hope this course won’t be too hard for you, and i hope by the time you have read this, you have already graduated from your chosen course. ;if you did, well then, congratulations!! i am so proud of you! you did so well, self! ;and if, for some circumstances, you failed to do it, i’m still proud of you, okay? you’re so strong, and i cannot wait to see the future me, to see you. at isa pa nga pala, may nakilala kang taong naging napaka-espesyal sayo’t mahal mo, minamahal mo, at patuloy mong mamahalin nang sobra-sobra. she’s jannela, your one and only. how are you, with her? are you still happy? are you still making her happy? … kayo pa rin ba? she’s the most incredible woman pyou ever met, althea. she’s the person i want you to be with until your last breath. are you still in love with her? is she still inlove with you? if yes, i’ll be ******* glad!! mahal na mahal mo yon, althea.. sana hindi mo sya kailanman papakawalan, at kung sakali mang pinakawalan mo na, sana mag-silbi tong bagong pag asa para muli mo syang makuha, kung pwede pa. jannela’s your diamond. the most precious of them all. so never lose her, hm? i trust you, and i root for you. to a happy, healthy and contented you in the future (hopefully, with her.) FIGHTING!!
