Dear FutureMe, This letter was written July 24, 2023, 10:09 pm. This letter was finished being written July 24, 2023, 11:03 pm. Happy sweet 16, I hope this is the best birthday yet! I hope you have amazing friends, and I hope you got an amazing car, I hope everything in our life and party you’re having at the moment is pink and sparkly. I wish us the best birthday! We just moved into an amazing house this week, we aren’t living on a boat, airstream, or any residence that can move! We are living in a house that can’t and won’t move! I’m so happy about this! I have an amazing room that you probably have right now, the walls are yellow, but don’t worry we will get that pink! I found an antique teapot in my bathroom 2 days ago, I’m really happy about that! Some neighbors stopped by today and welcomed us to the neighborhood! They have a boy my age, hope he’s cute, and respectful and all the things we want, we could be good friends, hopefully, well you know how it went, did he end up being nice, or a complete and total jerk like every kid in my generation? How many times have you read Mistborn and Stormlight? If there are any new books in the series drop everything you’re doing and read it! Have you read every book Brandon Sanderson has made? Or did you find a better author. I think that’s impossible. I’ve only read Stormlight and Mistborn once, but they are my favorite books of all time! What type of music do you like? Do you still like modern rock, and punk rock, and just rock? We will never like ***** metal, promise me that! Right now I really like the song that goes like “there with come a solider who carries a mighty sword, he will tear your city down, oh leigh, oh lie, oh lord” I also really like indie pop apparently, because that’s what my spotify stats are. Has Taylor Swift released a new album? Her newest album at the moment is SNTV I really like sparks fly and mine, I never actually listens to the SN album until the re-recording. And Olivia Rodrigo released a new song called vampire, it sounds nice, tins obbsessed with it right now. What career/collage do you want to have/go-to when your older, I want us to go to FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) but it’s in New York and New York sounds scary! I want to be a fashion designer! I’m getting a new sewing machine soon! Well I’m getting moms old one because my old one fell while we were sailing and it broke. I hope I still know how to sew when I can make something. I thrifted a fun floral fabric! I’m going to make a dress out of it, I think! How’s school going? I’m going to public school again for the first time in 2 weeks! I haven’t been in public school in like 5 years! I’m really scared, math was hard last year, I’m going into my last year of middle school! 8th grade! Future me, I hope you’re taking our future seriously! Please work hard! We are both terrified of the future, help us be less scared by doing good in school! Also remember, if we don’t do good in school, and we need help, mom and dad will help us, if they don’t, which is very unlikely, tin will happily help us. So don’t terrorize yourself with the future! How is Maddie doing? Are we still close? Has Maddie visited us? Is she healthier? We just talked recently, we haven’t talked for awhile. She’s going to stay with her sister for 2 months! I’m happy for her! Oh I also got an Aloe Vera plant! When we got the house the owners left all the plants, and there was a Aloe Vera plant, and mom said she could be mine, so I cut off her brown leaves, they were brown because she has to much sun or to much water from absorbing all the moisture in the air. She’s doing much better now and I named her Sadie! I think I’m being a good plant mom! Also did you know that Aloe Vera plants can get sunburnt? Like they come from the desert? It’s just really weird to me, but it hope you kept Sadie alive, and you’re getting much Aloe Vera gel from her! And remember only to water her when her soil has no more moisture 1-2 inches under.
