A letter from July 21st, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Taz I wrote this on 21 July 2023 at 19:41hrs and you will receive it in three years time in 2026. It seems like it has become normal for you to always think. Two weeks ago you were hopeful after applying for so many jobs , you saw a light at the end of the tunnel only for the tunnel to extend and the light deemed. on 15th July 2023 you got the news that someone else was given the chance and that felt ok because you thought the person was more qualified than you only for you to find out that you were the best candidate and you lost the position coz you had no connection and your competitor had a tall relative in the same organization, it has been a week now and you can't get your head around this, just know that all will be well. I still believe in you and will always believe you. I hope by the time you receive this letter you are doing well, you have a good job in the humanitarian world, I hope you are happy, I hope you smile at night when you are alone. I hope the nights are no longer lonely time and time cry or overthink but time to smile ,time to laugh with loved ones and time to cherish the good people around you. I hope you don't still live alone , I hope your room and phone are no longer your best friend. I know our lil siz and lovely nieces are now around you now that lil siz has finished her secondary , I know Sumey is still in school but having her and our lil comedian around is the best thing. I know at the moment you are happy with what you have achieved and what you are doing, thank you for not giving up and never give up. You are the role model of our nieces.
