A letter from Jul 20, 2023

Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I was going to wait until the morning just because it’s 1am, but **** it. Let’s free write. We just can’t back from spending a week at Grandpa’s. Your know the importance of family and most importantly the importance of God because every breath we take is truly a blessing. Don’t be afraid to lean on yourself and your knowledge, but don’t FORGET to lean on God as well. Grandpa told you that, “all things that I’ve tried to hold onto with my hands have all vanished, but all things I’ve let God hold onto, I still have.” I know that our last days never feel like our last, and losing Grandma has actually been very hard and a constant in the back of your mind. I don’t know how things will feel in the future, sometimes feeling just feels like getting hit with a Mack truck. I hope you fix that **** necklace you broke with the Bible verse on the back from mom and I hope you’re still doing the things you love with your time. I’m already feeling old, can only imagine how you feel sitting there reading this **** you forgot you wrote. Old *** 😂 But anyway, reach out to your siblings and check on them, reach out to everybody. Not going to list everybody, but call ya mama, you know she’s worried about you. One day you’ll have a partner man, somebody that really wants and chooses to be with you and doesn’t just settle or want you around out of convenience or something. But genuinely somebody that Loves you and wants to grow to walk a life together and knows the Love of God inshallah. Hopefully that person is right next too you reading this goofy *** letter to yourself. I hope in the future you have a smile on Your face and you’re happy man, I Love You. And in the off chance I’m not able to read this letter, and a loved one finds this. I’m not sure what may be in my future, but please let my friends and family know I Love them ALL and that they mean the world to me. I hope that whatever they’re doing in their daily endeavors is shining bright and inspiring others to make the most of their time on this planet. I’ll start trying to make some arrangements tomorrow for if my time comes too soon, but to whomever is reading this—You Got This. Goodbye for now! 💝
