A letter from Jul 12, 2023

Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I hope you got a job that funded your favourite things to do, or maybe even a driver's license. I'm just 16 when I wrote this, but I really hope you live on and not pass away, regardless of how you feel. You're really important to the family, you help feed the fish, feed the cat, play with the cat, clean the cat, clean the fish tank, etc. You may even help the bills at this point in your life. If you're not busy with the bills, maybe you're planning to do a PLC or college course on something? Idk what you'd like to do though, even though I've done Transition Year. It's difficult to assess what job I'd enjoy for the future, especially since the world felt like it was crashing down this 2023, for me. Everything feels too much, inflation is bothering everything and taking away the lives of so many people that I feel like I shouldn't live to escape, but what's the rush in leaving? I barely even started to live consciously like this. I love you, I hope you find this comforting future me.
