A letter from Jul 05, 2023

Dear FutureMe, CurrentMe is doing so well. I have been making healthy choices for the future, instead of squandering my time and energy on things and people who who aren't a good investment. I recently parted very amicably with a good friend as we were both dragging the other down in our spiritual progress. We will hopefully still see each other occasionally in real life, but a digital detox will make us both happier. And who knows, in 3 years when this letter reaches me, maybe we will have connected again in a more permanent sense. CurrentMe needs to work on physical health now- it is harder when the days are short and it is dark after work. But you can do it my girl!!! I have faith in you. When this letter reaches FutureMe, here is to having achieved, or be currently achieving , my physical goals. Almost all my previous FutureMe letters have been about my romantic interests. Over the years, I've been through 2 very tumultuous engagements, and while I will forever love the 2nd one, it is time for me to live for God and not for me for a while, until Mr Right appears (third time lucky). It is a good step back from being so proactive and desperate for my ever after. Trusting in God to bring me the best life choices.
