Dear FutureMe,
hello! its Sunday, July 2, 2023
As I write this message to you, I want to remind you of a time when you had strong feelings for someone, and you were making an effort to be noticed by him. It's possible that by now, your feelings may have changed, and you may or may not like the same person anymore. That's okay. People and feelings evolve, and it's a natural part of life's journey. But no matter what your current emotions are, I want you to cherish the memories of that time when you were infatuated and happy, making an effort to capture someone's attention. Remember the excitement and the joy you felt in those moments. Recall the butterflies in your stomach and the smiles that lit up your face whenever you interacted with them. Those emotions were real and valid. Hold on to those memories, not because they define you or your future, but because they are a testament to your capacity to love and to feel deeply. So, future self, no matter where you are in life right now, remember to honor the past, but also embrace the present and look forward to the future. Reflect on the person you were and the person you have become. Be grateful for the lessons learned and the experiences that have shaped you.
