Dear FutureMe, Hi! You already know me or maybe you forgot about me but whatever. three years from today i’ll be 23… woah… ew… old… i hope you’re still learning how to live life the way you’ve intended to. i do hope youre not dead tho like imagine someone getting my email in memoriam and its me dissing myself for being 23 like…. well lets see what would happen by the time im 23… my friends will all have graduated last year and joshua would graduate this year. id hopefully still be in college or in a career thats beneficial to me in the long run. i hope im still friends with everybody. i do have questions: did you ever reconcile with hannah? did you forget about her? did tanya ever date alex? did sam lose her virginity? did courtney ever stop being annoying? am i talking to nigel? how is the relationship? are mile and ari still together? did mom and dad divorce? did we move? did i ever go back to the mount? are janelle and rocky still together? am i dating somebody? did i ever finish that spiderman game? im sorry i have sm questions but the future is so far away. i hope youre happy with yourself. i hope youre in therapy again not all doped out on meds and i hope you feel less insecure about what goes on in your head. i love you the most in the world and i hope you love you more when we’re 23. thats such an odd sentence. whatever. i love you. i love you i love you i love you i love you. you are beauty you are love you are everything the universe deserves. i love you. hopefully you dont NEED to hear this but its still nice to hear. you are everything and i love you. cheers to 23!
