Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear Vainavi, I just finished my last workshop with Kenyon. It was absolutely magical. Everyone is absolutely insane, they have the specific talent of bending words over raw emotion. You may or may not be satisfied in your position right now. I am probably reading this and thinking about how naive I was a few months ago, but I can assure you that I am currently feeling quite articulate. This letter serves as a reminder to you: never stop writing. Sure, maybe you won't have time for it, but we all know that's a lie. Just sit down, grab a pen, and write about anything for 10 minutes. It's gonna feel super weird , but you've done it before and you can do it again. The most important thing is that you need to read it aloud to someone, anyone. You'll realize that the words you just wrote are the truest they could be. Maybe you're alone, maybe you need support. Just reach out! Amma, Kayal, or anyone one of the super awesome friends you have right now will always be there for you. Use language to free yourself from any situation. Never let anyone tell you what to do. School might be kicking your but right now. Just remember that it's gonna be worth it once you find something who can deal with the bragging of your intelligence. It's ok if it's hard. Push through. We haven't lived life yet. Remember to have fun, love people, eat food, and be present. I don't really know how to be present yet, but I'm sure you've figured it out by now. One last thing: publish something with our name on it. It doesn't have to be famous. Just put something out there and hope that the right people read it. love, Vainavi
