A letter from June 22nd in 2023 xxx

dear sarah darling. the way the world works is so crazy its so weird, like it all seems so fake, like we are being watched, like the truman show but better quality yk, like you just never know, we might just all be in a globe being watched, nobody around me may know abt it. who knows, do we still feel like this way, all conspiracies and stuff? if we feel the world is fake then why do we care so much. if we are convinced that this is all fake or i am the only 'real' one then why tf does it matter. nobody cares. stop stressing about what people think of you. for example you did an oral presentation yesterday and chickened out originally because you didnt want people making fun of you and then you will never guess what happened...... nobody even cared. u then did it, nobody remembers anything about it, why would they, they have more interesting and important things to think about than your silly speech about something nobody cares about. okay and even if they do, do u think it will effect them after 2 days? even a week? no ofc not. nobody even remembers when something bad did happen by a presentation (you crying at debate). nobody talked about it or EVER mentioned it, the teaches didn't even know. see it is irrelevant. every choice you make doesnt matter sarah. just be yourself and ace school, ace your presentations, your smart, you know you are. you just need to put in the effort and you can do amazing things. your in year 12, you don't have long left at school, enjoy it, don't complain about it being cold at school and silly little things (cus its freezing rn) because in 10 years time you would do anything to be back in this lifestyle. you are getting older now so please try, idc if u did terrible in your first exams, it just gives u a reason to get AMAZING results next time so it can balance out your scores, and if you did do amazing then keep it up, don't slack off just cus u did well the first time sarah. we want a good atar, a good job, good opportunities and i would appreciate if you really start trying. also enjoy life tho, your 18. you have freedom. so go live that freedom. love from 16 yr old you
