Dear FutureMe,
I am writing to remind you that you need to stay strong. It has been hard, highschool had been so hard. Almost no one believed in you but you showed them what you can do. You worked so hard, you got good grades and became a hard worker. A better friend and a better lover. It took many friendships to end and relationships or habit patterns to reconsider but you go where you are, even without therapy. By the way, **** that therapist who invalidated your trauma. I hope you are visiting a worthy one now. If you’re not, do it. We already achieved so much and I won’t ask any questions since I already know everything I need to. Well, you do. I hope our family and friends are happy and that I am still with Jason. Cherish them. Your family are the people who will always be there for you. Your friends, they are what make you happy and the ones that share your happy and sad days, in most cases. As for Jason, he is a kind and sweet soul. He helped you through so much. I hope he is doing well and that he doesn’t or did not make you sad. I hope that we still respect him and love him as much, I am sure he hasn’t done you wrong no matter how hard your journey together has been. Visit him or call him please. Call your family and friends too. Go to the gym, don’t drop it. Finish university. Finish your studies, stay focused. Make your parents and yourseld proud. You’re not wasted potential, you’re a work in progress. Work hard. Learn. Grow. Heal. Love. Live. Accept. Hope.
