A letter from May 18th, 2023

3 year letter to myself, Hello Taylor in 3 years, you are now 25 years old, half way through your 20’s…. So crazy, you have always had weird feelings with aging, but it’s okay, knowing everyone on this earth does it brings peace to mind. Anyways, a few days ago you you received the letting you wrote to yourself when you were 20 during Covid. Go back and read it I promise you will enjoy reading it back. So much has changed, so here is a summary of all the changes between 22 and 20. You have now been with Austin since February 5th 2020 so about 3 years and 3 months at this point. You have watched him grow into an amazing man, for your 21st birthday he surprised you with a trip to San Antonio to meet his extended family with was just so so sweet and shortly after you spent your first Christmas and New Years in Texas with Austin and the family. Then sadly, in January you started long distance with Austin. The plan was to do long distance for 1 to 2 years, but that didn’t quite work out because you moved into his pawpaws on may 19th 2022 with Gatsby. And now cutie little Ginger Which by the way was just so amazing to be out here in Houston and enjoy being in a new state and new adventures. On January 18th 2023 you and Austin got your first apartment together, with is so crazy and adopted little Oakley. Also Courtlynn is about 8 months PREGNANT with a man she met in the army named Bryan and Victoria is ENGAGED finally!! We are finally at the age where all these amazing milestones take place more frequently… it’s a crazy and sentimental feeling. Let’s start with Courtlynn. She called you in about October or November saying she was pregnant and you just cried to most amazing tears of joy with her, you just knew she was going to be the most amazing mommy and that she’s about to start the most amazing adventure. You are currently on the flight back home to Houston from her baby shower which was just so amazing. Now Victoria, she’s doing amazing you two are as close as ever, we FaceTime everyday, Tek finally proposed in February 2023 and it was the most beautiful proposal you’ve ever seen. She has asked you to be her maid of honor and you are so excited! They are planning for August 2024. Now for you Taylor… let’s see, your favorite artist in Zach Bryan right now, you really want to go to a concert. You aren’t engaged yet, but we think Austin is really starting to think about it or starting to plan and look at rings. :) You have pretty heavy baby fever but it’s not your time yet! You have 4 weeks left in school before you graduate and take your state boards, you’re a little nervous but you got this, you have taken a huge step back from serving and focusing on quality time at home with the furbabys and Austin. You just recently started at a Salon. Let me just say this to you now, if this salon gives you the tiniest bit of bad vibes, please leave. Salon hop if you have to, you will achieve happiness in the work place, I believe in you. Mom is doing good, you’re relationship is strong, but you miss her a lot, you miss everyone so much, dad and nana are looking to move out here soon which is exciting because you’ll have blood here in Texas. Grandmas doing good, you need to call her more, and Rylan to, I know he doesn’t seem interested but force him. You and Kylie, haven’t changed all that much, she has not changed all that much and is continuing to be very immature and self consumed. It’s okay though you have been strong with her and she has messed up time and time again it will be okay with her, continue to forgive and move on but never forget. You have been going to church, you found one in Houston you really like called Clear Creek Community church, they have been amazing. You have been hanging out with a girl named faith a lot and she’s been awesome for you. You have been growing and changing a whole lot, everything has, from your relationship to your dreams, but all in the best ways possible. You have started your fitness journey and that has been great so far. You’re relationship with Austin feels stronger then ever. He has taken such great care of you and everyday you wake up and no you are with the love of your life tay. Never forget that. The things that are the most important to you are austin, god, you’re animals, your family, work and your friends, in that order. Remember that you are so beautiful inside and out, you have a kind heart and do the best you can for everyone around you. God is watching over you always. Onto predictions now, you will get this letter in may 2026, by this time I predict that you will be either married or planning your wedding, you will definitely be engaged! And hopefully in a nice home and thinking about kids or trying for kids. You currently want 3 kids two boys and one girl in that order. You will also hopefully be in your third year of hairstyling and looking into getting into your own suite once it makes since financially. By year three I hope you are making close to $85,000 in a year. I know you and Austin will be stronger then ever, never stop fighting for him Taylor, I’m promising myself that right now. I love you , I’m praying for you, and I’m going to work towards getting everything you want Taylor, write another one for yourself. I love you, 2023 Taylor
