A letter from June 4th, 2023

Dear FutureMe, oh hey there! this is you except almost 3 years in the past lol. i’m 14 years old right now. let me say one thing real quick, please tell me we aren’t emo or weird. when you get this letter, you will have probably already graduated and are probably down in Ocean City with your friends for Senior Week! i have a few questions for future me. are we still friends with any of our friends now? friends now: sarah tyler, emma nkanza, lily secrist, macyn miller, mady abbatielo, gemma vogel, lyla roe, caroline flaherty, rhyan kirby, brynn spiker, john kram, matthew bravo, zach lister, nick walters, nathaniel lapp, leilani brooks, audrey campbell, tj truxon, jimmy seymour, jackson diffenderfer, mason ramey, gabe loeser, colin buckley, jt lizewski, mady hall, and more. do we still do dance? did we just have the esda recital a few weeks ago? are we going to college? i hope we go to a party school lol. are mom and mr. mike together? is dad married again? do i have a bf finally? who was my first kiss? did anything ever happen with john? did we have at least a 3.5 gpa? my favorite things rn: favorite color is blue but pink is definitely 2nd favorite, favorite candy is m&ms and baby bottle pops specifically the red ones, favorite animal is a dolphin, favorite subject is math, my favorite movies are tangled and home (yes the movie with the purple alien looking things; john makes fun of me for watching them but sometimes i find him looking at my phone while i’m watching it lol). i hope you are doing great in life. i hope you have a car and a lot of friends and still have a great relationship with mom and dad and cam and al. how is al doing in middle school? how is cam doing his freshman year of high school? have we gone to any parties? i wonder what my snapscore is when you read this letter, currently it is 407,748. how many insta followers do we have, currently we have 489 insta followers. how about tik tok followers, currently we have 1583 tik tok followers. is bereal still a thing? did mom ever let us get rid of life360? was outerbanks season 4 good? how did it end? how about the summer i turned pretty? do we still like drunk elephant, if so has our collection of drunk elephant stuff gotten bigger? i’m super excited for you (future me) to look back at this letter and see all the things that have changed in my life for the better and the worst. i hope life has been a roller coaster filled with ups and downs but mostly ups obviously. i hope you are having a good time in life no matter where you are. i love you so much and i’m so proud of how hard you’ve worked to get this far. anyways i have to get back to making my cheat sheet for my algebra 2 final and then studying for my u.s. history final 🙄. love, 14 year old megan
