Dear FutureMe,
Hey Kori, it’s you but from 3 years earlier. I am currently writing to you in hopes that all is well with you! I hope you’re happy and having the time of your life. I’m hoping and praying now that you are located in New York City at Columbia or NYU pursuing your dream dermatology. If not New York then maybe Hawaii? If not Hawaii maybe California? Anywhere but North Carolina! Please go to college!!!!
If you’re not staying in New York, have you been? And do you like it? It’s a really big goal of mine to live there for one year of my life. Let’s hope that dream comes true.
Also, happy birthday! I just turned 15 and I don’t feel much different. I’m now becoming a little bit girly, I’m getting my nails done and doing my make up, I’m just having a great time.
I hope you’re more confident in yourself and your abilities, I hope you love what you see when you walk in front of a mirror. Lastly, I hope you found someone who loves you as much as your parents Love you. I hope you’re taking care of your body and being active and healthy.
When I say this, I really do mean it, I hope you’re happy and enjoying your life. I hope your parents are okay and healthy, I hope you have a good relationship with them.
I’m hoping you have friends, a real friends!
Continue to be strong, smart, and kind. Don’t ever let anybody tell you what you can, or cannot do. Remember your dreams, leave them out while you’re young!
