A letter from Jun 04, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Freshman year has been the worst year of my life. i’m the lowest i’ve ever been. i hope that you got into a UC even if it’s one of the “bad” ones like Merced. as long as it’s a UC you’ll get pretty good jobs. idk what you’ll major in or get a job in but i hope that we get super rich. i wish you could tell me how the past 3 years went so i could prepare myself because i would’ve wanted to prepare the past me for what happened this year. i know for a fact that you’re scared of what comes next and tbh there’s nothing i can say to ease that anxiety because i am always scared of what comes next. especially after all that’s been happening recently. but i know that whatever happens, at the very least we’re still God’s daughter. you could always turn to that if you feel there’s nothing left. and we have mom and dad who’ll always be there. i hope that in college we make a bunch of friends. and i most importantly hope that you’re okay. Pls don’t be sad about this letter it’s really cringe. just keep in mind that if our life did get better, the person i am now is healed.
