A letter from Jun 04, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Today is June 3rd 2023. I just finished freshman year. I’m not entirely sure what to say. I’ll just give you some life updates. I currently live with my dad right by the school. I’m very disappointed in myself for letting my grades slip and not trying to the best of my abilities this past school year. I ended with TWO d+ the strange part is.. I don’t have a guilt. I feel like I don’t care as much. It’s probably because of my terrible attendance this past year. Please tell me you’ve got really good attendance now and have good grades.I really need to focus. Did you get into IU Bloomington. If I don’t get in I feel like my life won’t be good enough. Not only for me but for past me and my future children. I want them to live a life I never got. Did you end up applying for butler university? If so did you get in. I know the fees are very expensive but that’s always been my number one dream school. Do you still want to be a dental hygienist. Did you check off everything on your bucket list before high school. I can’t wait for prom and hoco. I didn’t go this year because we couldn’t Afford a dress. Hopefully I can go next year. I know money isn’t easy at times so I try not to mind. Sometimes it can be aggravating but I always try to stay humble and be grateful. I have a few questions. 1)Did you get your dream closet 2)Did you move 3)Did you get a bf 4)Are you going to Europe 5)Do you have a car? 6)Who’s your bsf rn 7)Are you popular 8)Do you have your own room 9)Did you save enough for college 10)Do you have a storage unit with apartment stuff? Rate high school- I don’t really care about the popularity stuff I’m just curious. It was important to me last year but having real friends is more important to me now. Did you and Ava make amends? How many instagram followers do you have *still just curious* I have 419. My bestfriends are Jocelyn and English 9 gc right now. Is that bc still active? Probably not but I hope so. I’m still 14. My birthday is in 6 days and I’m so excited. It’s going to be a backyard party with s’mores and bbq. Pool swimming and floaties. Glow sticks,music,etc. I’m going to the mall with Jocelyn and we’re going to buy clothes with 200$ instead of getting presents.I can’t believe you’re graduating. I’ve always been so scared of that point but you’ve made it. I can’t believe it. Was the stress an overreaction? Probably. Graduating is probably the scariest moment. It practically defines your whole future. If you don’t get into a good college for a good degree you won’t be able to live up to your expectations. But it’s summer and I don’t need to stress. I tend to worry about the future a lot. Did you end up joining a sport?xc? This school year was really ruff but you made it so I know you’ll be fine. Please don’t fall in with the wrong crowd. It’s a waste of potential. You’ve probably been through so much, friendship betrayals,heart breaks, maybe even lost a loved one. But you’re still standing and college isn’t ready for you.
