A letter from May 29, 2023

Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Me, I hope this letter finds you in a place of fulfillment. As I write to you, I want to reflect on how life is right now and share my thoughts on how I believe life will be three years from now. At this moment, life is filled with both challenges and moments of joy. I am constantly learning and growing, navigating through the ups and downs that come my way. I am surrounded by loved ones who support me. I did however broke up with my best-friend and I am feeling really double about it. On one hand I am so relieved and I finally feel free, but on the other hand I feel really alone even though I have so many lovely people around me. So I hope that in the future I feel better about it or that there may be a chance that we are friends again. I set goals for myself and I am actively working towards achieving them. Looking ahead, I envision life in three years to be a reflection of the progress I am making today. I believe that with dedication, I will have made significant strides towards my goals. I can see myself overcoming the obstacles that currently stand in my way and reaching new heights of success. I imagine that I will have grown both personally and professionally. I will have expanded my knowledge and skills, seizing opportunities for growth and development. I hope to have taken risks, stepped out of my comfort zone, and embraced new experiences that have broadened my perspective on life. In three years, I see myself surrounded by supportive and loving people. I also hope that I will have prioritized self-care and achieved balance in my life. Taking care of my physical, mental, and emotional well-being and I envision myself having established healthy habits and routines that feed my body and mind. I hope to have found openings for creativity and relaxation. While I am optimistic about the future, I am aware that life is unpredictable. I understand that there may be unexpected turns and detours along the way. However, I am confident in my ability to adapt and find strength in adversity. I believe that challenges are opportunities for growth, and I will face them with resilience and determination. As I close this letter, I want to remind you, Future Self, to always stay true to who you are. Remember the values that guide you and let them shape your decisions and actions. Keep looking after the relationships that matter and cherish the moments of joy that life brings. I am excited to see how life has unfolded for you, Future Self. May your journey be filled with love, growth, and meaningful experiences. With warm love, Your Present Self
