Time Travelled — about 3 years

Peaceful right?

dear future graduate me, idk how to start this letter other than expressing the disappointment of freshmen year, 8th grade you thought you would be a perfect 4.0 teachers favorite, always participating in high school. in freshman year you didn't even raise your hand once in biology. you were called a few times in math where you didn't even know the answer. in english your teacher specifically looked at you when she was advising the adv eng 10 was not for struggling students. sure, you had all honors classes and one ap class that got your head up ur *** thinking u were the smartest. but u saw ur friends in those classes thrive with ease while u were secretly struggling and didn't want to admit it. i then got suspended for a day and ik i will still think about it up to graduation. that was probably my lowest point, my parents didn't even yell at me but i didn't need to hear their yells to know they were disappointed. i was supposed to be the trophy kid who you know would get accepted to a respected college, or become a neurosurgeon or a millionaire. but over time realized i was over exaggerating my future just to give false hope to my parents. your semester 1 gpa was a 3.9 but yet i still wasn't satisfied with that knowing i could've done better. most of my relatives were a 4.0 average and my mom doesn't forget to remind me that. its almost the end of freshman year now and half of your grades are B's with no motivation because you know it's too late to fix it. i don't know the final grade i get yet but my graduating self will so i hope it's good. honestly the point is don't expect the best of urself, tho i hope graduating me is summa *** laudešŸ™šŸ™
