A letter from May 26,

Dear FutureMe, I wonder how you’re doing. Its May 25 2023 and you just got done with Freshman year. This year you choices cheer again and you love it so much. softball is okay right now. you’re main goal is to hit the gym and improve on yourself. You liked Alan M the past few months and he’s super confusing and basically played you, but that’s okay he wasn’t worth it anyways. Your brothers live at home and they’re watching the nba playoffs celtics and heat. celtics just won game 2 against the heat even though heat is leading by 3 games. Your best friends are steven, arnie, anabella , isabel , yaz, jackie, robbie, and basically your whole lunch group. i really struggled this year with my grades for some reason, my algebra teacher told me it was because of softball and i don’t know how to feel about that, and you also forgot to turn in your final film for film class. and i forgot to turn in my chromebook. i also had my quince on may 6 which was pretty goated and all my friend went. ( except alan i don’t know why i like him so much ) but either than that you got tons of money and it really is true when people say money doesn’t buy you happiness. i’m very neutral i’m not happy or sad but my favorite thing is sleeping at 5 am on ft w arnie most of the time, seeing who could stay up longer and then waking up at like 10 and going to cheer practice at 4. i also sprained my ankle due to softball and it still hurts to this day. i can only do back hand spring right now which sucks but i really want to get my tuck soon. robbie got it in 2 weeks. i miss my friends though and i’m gonna miss steph and teso. i really love the songs tek it, honest, and tyler the creator. and ofc , Nirvana. i’ve been going to the gym with karla and arnie and it’s so fun because karla became my leg buddy since that’s all we hit at the gym while arnie does arms or smth because he’s super weak and needs it to get his chair for cheer. i’m glad i convinced him to do it. i just know that at cheer i’m happy except for when yaz and ale leave me out :( i don’t know who ima hang out with honestly i’ll just hop around the groups maybe or maybe one of the incoming freshman will be my new bsf. you’re going to be a sophomore btw and you’re a scared because you want the same people in you’re classes cause it was so fun. you really like 2nd period with ms hester and 5th biology with ms tan. and theater with arnie and anabella. i’m so nervous for this summer because i don’t know what i’m going to do and how ima deal with everything, and oh and also jay kay and the gremlins might live with you due to the family situation but eithe than that you’re chilling. oh and you have a little crush on tesos little brothers lol. but either than that you’re chilling and yeah hope senior year went well. much love, jas. <3
