A letter from May 22, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Hey love, it’s you from May 22, 2023! I hope you are doing well (not “good”; Tom would be proud). I’m writing to you sitting on the little couch in our living room while Roxy looks out the window above me. I have tumbling in a few minutes. By the way how has that gone? Did you ever get your ariel? Anyways, I just wanted to send you a little note to let you know how much I love you. I know it sounds silly because I’m just saying that to myself but it’s true. I know I will always have my back and be my own best friend. I’m pretty sure you are graduating soon or if not have already graduated, but I wish you the best of luck in college (you got this!), and congrats on making it through high school! I hope dance has been well and you enjoy your last recital! I’m not sure if this is a touchy subject anymore but, I hope you have an amazing boyfriend. I hope he’s exactly what you pray to god about. If you don’t have a boyfriend yet, that’s okay!! I still hope you are happy and content. Either way, keep being that sweet, kind, caring person you are (not to sound cocky) (classic Amaya ;) but it’s true. You add so much to this world, and you deserve the very best. I’m sure your younger self would be proud of the person you are today. Don’t go down the wrong path and remember you are sooooo loved. Im sure you are already crying reading this, so wipe those tears and smile! I’m looking up to everyday! Love, your 15 year old self :)
