A letter from May 21, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Hey again! Hope you're well. Lots has happened recently. I'm currently at home with Axel and I just wrapped up streaming Amanda the Adventurer on twitch. We gained two followers today! Now we're at a total of 30 followers and we can do a 30 subscriber special! That'll be exciting. Do you still stream? I hope you do, even if it's just a hobby. Sarah recently mentioned that her brother won't get a job because he spends all his time streaming instead. It's made me paranoid. I'm applying to jobs, but I'm waiting to hear back from any that aren't cleaning services because I don't want to fall into that stereotype. It's not looking good. I tried applying to teaching jobs or childcare jobs in general. I think I'm good at it? I'm not sure. But I think I'd like to go into teaching. Ideally I'd love to be a teaching professor, but it's looking rough with my current GPA. So I think I'll settle for elementary schoolers. I think when you receive this I'll have graduated. I've got a lot of credits to make up to even graduate so being a super senior might not be so bad if it lessens the load for me. But I hope you've graduated. For our family's sake. I'll be honest, I'm scared even imagining you. There's so many things happening day to day for me already, and I can't imagine how life will look in even just a month. But I hope that you're happy, even just a little bit.
