a message to Husam Roumia from the past.

i wrote this letter on may 20, 2023 i am turning 18 exactly a month from now, you will receive this when you’re 20 and about to turn 21. How are you doing? did we reach our goals? are mom and dad still doing good? please tell me that you always spent time with them? did you continue with university? if you did how is psychology doing? i know you always wanted to pursue it i really hope that you did, if not what are you doing now? i know that 3 years isn’t really a long time but the next 3 years are what decides your entire future. did you find a good girl? you had a plan to get married at 21 and travel the world with her when you can? do you have any goals that i didn’t set? i really hope that you’re doing good man oh and one more thing! friends! do you still have your good friends by your side? i am talking about the main 3 Amjad, Ahmet, Mohammed. they’re good people hopefully you’re still in touch with them. How is your relationship with god? Allah is the way tell me that you stuck up to his way? re you still in edmonton? i know you hated it haha, if not where did you move? i know we had a passion for cars? is your Acura still your current car? oh man you loved that car so much. Is nova still around? Yes your cat! please tell me that she’s still there? a couple more things i have to say, please make me proud, don’t disappoint your younger self i know you could do better than anyone else, are mom and dad proud? how is your relationship with your siblings? i love them all so much take good care of them for me especially Omar, hes a good kid and reminds me of my younger self protect him with all you could. now please listen to me, your fun years are over and you’re growing up to be the man you always wanted to be oh and is busi still your friend? you and her always said that you will keep in contact even in the future? its interesting how time goes by and hopefully you didn’t waste these 3 years and you kept on the right path.
