A letter from May 18, 2023

Dear FutureMe, I hope whenever you get this that your goals haven't changed but your mindset to keep going harder and make yourself better. This is gonna sound really crazy but you have a chance to be the top ranked senior in the nation for track and field. You're ranked at #73 in the state of Texas as just a freshman and i hope to us that you get a chance to go to you dream school with the person you love and care about. This is really cool being able to do something like this and make the chance for you to see this and it be the reason that you keep on going. I really need you to keep our goals the same though and that is to start by junior year for football and basketball and have as many offers for track as we can get. These goals are a little steep but the fact that the chance is on the table for us is insane even if its gonna be our 2nd in high school. The goals for us are very simple for track though cause I want you to have the school record by you senior year and if you don't that okay but at least be tied with it. I don't really know what you will want to do but I really hope that you stay friends with Logan cause he's a good kid and really wants to see us do great things. I also think that Jordan is a good kid and that he can make you a better high jumper from the competition that he gives you at meets and at practices. So whatever you do don't forget about those people. Also don't ever forget that you need to push to get fast cause if we are gonna be a wr then we need to get fast and stronger. Which is another thing you need to stay on the workout plan that I am fixing to start and make sure that you can stay healthy and not get hurt. I also want you to try and make state your senior year and win the event that you end up doing but for now let's just stick to high jump and try to make a difference in what we do in it for the school. Not only all of that but i would love for you to stay close with our brother when you leave for whatever we are doing by then and make sure that you can still stay in contact enough that you can see them on the holiday's. I would also love it if we work hard enough to own our own outfitters club and take special people on hunts of a life time that they normally only dream about. So don't get too rushed or feel to rushed into what we are trying to accomplish and just let it come to us naturally. I think that you will be able to take your relationships to a higher meaning if your life if we would stop being so stubborn all that time. There are some special people that are in this part of my life right now and i would hate to see them go and I know that it would hurt you like it would be also. So start being better towards them and making them feel loved even if its just like a small little hug or something big like a really meaningful gift. Just no matter what you do don't forget the things that we have set our to do since day one.
