A letter from May 17, 2023

Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Hello, Giw. It's me from the future. I hope by the time you're reading this letter, you've forgiven yourself. You have come this far and accepted the fact that nobody is perfect including you. You made mistakes then learn from them. Hey, Giw. How have you been doing? How's life treating you? It's never been easy, isn't it? But, you made it this far. I know you've been doing everything all by yourself these days, but I bet someone loves you right now, huh? He's right now sitting next to you and enjoying spending time with you right now. Is he tall? Does he have a big shoulder and chest to cry on? Does he look good in black? Is he older than you, LOL? Does he let you work in your office? Does he call you every time you both are not together? Is he okay with your unicorn collection? Does he love you in your boots outfit? Does he call you by "anggi sayang" when he's mad at you? Does he love cats? If the answers to all questions above are yes, then you've fallen over hills in love with him definitely. I'm glad to hear that, love. Because you deserve all the love in the world. Thank you so much for staying alive until today. Thank you for all the love you've given to the world, your friends, family, and even strangers. Thank you for being the sunshine for everyone. Thank you for being the mother of your friends and being the little sister everyone dreamt of. Thank you for your effort to exist in my life, Giw. All I want for you is to be happy and grateful for what you already have. You might not have the newest iPhone or the newest clothes or the biggest room or nicest car yet ... but, you already have yourself loving you. Feeling comfortable in your own skin. Please don't hate yourself anymore, okay? It's done. "You are enough, Giw." You always are. I love you little unicorn. With so much love, Giw.
