A letter from May 16, 2023

Hey Lucas, Right now life is crazy. Jeez, I mean, I just turned in my two-week notice to Mcdonald's. I'm scared for the future, where my writing career will bring me, and where God is calling me. I'm so happy that Leela and I have been together for a year and a half! I feel most comfortable at ROLC or Leela's house. I'm so antsy every week just to get to church, and to get to Leela's. These two places are my happy places, places where everything is perfect, and nothing is wrong. I've got a lot of people who've impacted me, and I hope continue to impact you. The first is Leela. She's shown me so much love and turned my depressive almost suicidal lifestyle into one of pure joy. Next is Blake, he's grown with me and shown me how much I can do with my writing. Then there's Jimmy. God is so good in Jimmy, and he's able to show me how to write properly, and how to use my writing for God. Of course, we can't forget Jake. Jake Thornton, the first man to make me question what the heck I was doing. He showed me how living for the world was wrong, and how to properly live for God. Another amazing impact would be from Pastor Mike and Pastor Kristy. They showed me how even when God takes one of the best things from your life you're able to still show his love. The last impact is Dad. No, not Trenton, although I do love him and he has impacted me. Jacob Wayne Trimble, the best man to come into my life, the best person other than Leela. He's shown me nothing but kindness and compassion, and he's shown my mom love. He's my dad, even if it's not by blood. I love him and am glad to call him dad. Okay, Lucas, this is being written in Freshman year, so don't let me down, stay on the right path, do something right. I'm wanting to be a screenwriter and go to college at the University of Central Arkansas. I'll pay for college by doing some welding, that way I can go to college for Screenwriting. I want to put out Inside the Mind of a Modern Silent Artist: The Story of Charlie Gardener and a couple of other films. I want you to still be dating Leela. I want life to be good, I want us to be strong in God, to mention a couple of things.
