A letter from May 15, 2023

Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

May 15, 2023 Dear Howard, Hello Howard from the future, like around freshman year of college I think. I am currently a sophomore in high school, about to become a junior. I am excited for my junior year because I will have a car and will have many possibilities to have fun. I like that I am a fun person to be around, even when I'm alone. I don’t like how people judge me based on things i've done in my freshman year. Right now my sister goes to alternative school and my parents relationship is decent. They still get into arguments every now and then but that is normal for a married couple of 15+ years. My favorite things to do currently is to skate with Noah, hang out downtown with my friends, and eat princes hot chicken. I’ve probably spent over 2000 dollars on princes in the last 2 years. I spend most of my time playing roblox, working out, skating, and playing on my phone. Hopefully by the time I got this I will have a better phone because my battery sucks. The people in my life right now are my parents, my sister, my friends Noah, Emir, Sarmad, Albaraa, Moustafa, and Omar. My main friend is Noah because we have a lot in common and we both mysterious af on the low. My past isnt really that interesting. I was a normal kid with both parents in my household. I was raised with only 1 sibling being my sister Briyanaa. I went to Park Avenue Elementary School. As in terms for my future, I would hope to have a scholarship in Software Engineering. Hopefully I go to school somewhere near Tennessee, if not in state. I hope that I will be making at least 6 figures by 21. Some of my fears for the future are that I will not succeed and be a homeless bum begging teenagers for money like some of the people downtown. I hope that you succeed. Have a Great Day Howard McClain, 16
