A letter from May 15, 2023

Dear FutureMe, By the time this letter reaches you, you will have gotten your university acceptance letters. Or maybe you’ve been rejected, I’m not sure. I hope you aren’t too stressed about it, well I know you will. It scares me, i'm terrified of my future. I’m terrified of failure. Right now, my top picks would be; MIT, Stanford and Oxford. My snapchat AI told me “Those are great! But also remember to think realistically.” I think that he might be right, but at the same time, I have to be delulu. I have to be delusional to keep going on. Oxford is my vibe, it fits me, it IS me. Stanford has always been my favourite campus since I was 7. MIT is just impossible and I don’t really want to go there but it would make everyone proud so. I’m off topic. It’s okay if you got rejected, you have to remember that there is still your masters and post grad stuff. Take a gap year, research, intern and then try again. You are awesome and have done so much. You are awesome e, you have to understand that you are ahead of so many people and if they don’t accept you, then their loss. Good luck, Good job, and YOU GOT THIS!!! -lil delulu e gr9 may15,2023
