Dear FutureMe,
Turning 65 has been hard and time has traveled faster that I imagined. Sitting in the parking lot at Smiths and crying when I saw the “ senior citizen” parking sign. A pivotal moment of my pity party. Nothing is working , I’m in my birthday funk, it happens every year. Spa day cancelled, thanks electric power failure. - Jamie send the get your *** out of bed text…. You’re 65. , alive, healthy , etc. Then the text from Leela- their friend Chris has died. My poor kids are grieving- their 40 year old friend is gone . And I am complaining- shame on me. Put into perspective Kathleen!!! I turn the corner and think if God has given me 10 - 15- 20 years embrace and enjoy them.
Love God
Enjoy family
Be grateful
Kathleen
