A letter from May 11, 2023

Hey to my future chinese self I wonder what it would be like after I leave from Benjamin Franklin High School. I hope I get at least a minimum of 4.0 gpa every year and get accepted into whatever college I apply to. I hope for the next four years I keep in good term with everyone I am friends with. I hope my teachers for the next four years are nice and give curves and have easy class yet teach what we need to learn. I hope that I hope what I hope that what happen will happen and the things that dont’t happen don’t happen and hope the gaps on the stalls in the boys' bathroom get smaller and smaller as my time here get shorter and shorter. I hope that the future me is a me that is from my dreams and not a dumb person and hope the experiences don’t change who I am and how I treat others. I wonder to my future self, “Will I change my idea about love and affection in the future and would other people think I changed in a positive direction in these four years. I hope people would like me and treat each of us nicely. Advices for the future me is to speak in a more polite way and communicate more with others and Advice two is to make sure that Myles Taylor is still with you. I wish that I get to be with someone I like or I hope I would love myself more than ever and treat myself better than ever. Sincerely the young childish kid in 9th grade Kylie Ouyang
