A letter from May 08, 2023

Hello you, It's me - I've got 2 hours left of childhood so I thought id write something real quick (10:18 pm May 8th as I write this). I imagine we're in uni right now, (or maybe still seeing the world!?), maybe you’ve got a love interest? (but let's hope they're a bit less controlling than the current one - I love her dearly tho she’s so fun to be around and so funny). I hope we have learnt from it - I hope you are less people-pleasing and put yourself first more, all whilst still loving hard as hard as you do. I’ve got my first alevels on the 23rd - business and politics and safe to say I'm bricking myself. Let's hope I pulled myself together and got some decent results! I hope were perusing something we love - not bogged down doing some mundane degree - if that is the case, revisit those creative things we love like acting, singing and photography because they will make you really happy, I promise you when you become immersed in it you’ll love it. Please never let go of your creative side - you’ve got a talent there and it’d be wrong to waste it in the pursuit of a career or something else. I hope you’re living more in the moment now, not overthinking and worrying about the pointless little things. Some of my close friends currently are Tom Atkins, Bella Marshall, Jeremy Newman, Theo Richards, summer hill, Emily Occonnor, Esme Utley, Sam Clooney & Will Acheson and of course the Brampford lot. If we haven’t talked to them recently - please ping them a message and see how they’re doing. I hope the families all well and pickle is still going - if you haven’t recently just tell them how much you love them and how much they mean to you, because it’ll mean so much to them. Also - remember we promised Dad a trip on the orient express & mum a Botox treatment when we could afford it ;) Be kind to yourself and hold yourself accountable - you’ve got potential, but you need to put in the work to access it. If we're not already, look into buying property as our parents did (even if that’s in 4 years from when you read this) - it’ll take us far. Most importantly harv, be kind to yourself, take care of yourself mentally and physically and whenever you can show those people the matter to you the most how much they truly mean to you. The last 18 years have been ******* sick man, I couldn’t have asked for a more kind and loving family, loyal friends and fantastic upbringing. Hope you’re doing well, keep doing the things you love.
