A letter from May 03, 2023

"I am Barabbas." Many unbelievers disagree with this statement because we are not equal to a sinful man who committed ******. I realized in my walk with Jesus Christ that I mess up all the time. This world believes that nothing is wrong with keeping hate in your heart, but God believes it is ****** in his sight. This used to upset me when I was an atheist in the past. I was angry and confused because the world has a different justice system. I had a close heart for a very long time, and I hated the church. But let me tell you I became Christian under the weirdest circumstances. I became obsessed with new-age spirituality, and I tried to fill the void in my heart with worldly things. People never understood the hidden battles I had to go through. I had sleep paralysis every night for two years and my family began seeing a black shadow in our home. We never gave meaning to it. We moved on with our lives. Until one day I went to the bookstore and wanted to buy a horror book because it caught my attention but all of a sudden, my inner voice told me to turn around. I was faced with the bible, and I couldn't take my eyes away from it. I bought it without thinking and left the store. For a year the book was never touched. Then during the pandemic, I started seeing white feathers and angel numbers. I thought I was going crazy. All the childhood trauma and wounds came back to me that day. I cried and felt so alone. I discovered a Christian artist, and her song is called rescue me. I loved it. I opened the bible and it said he rescued them. This was only the beginning. I had a philosopher teacher a few years ago who always said one day you will find out the truth. I always wanted to know what he meant. He spoke in parables. He showed us impossible things in our sight. I saw how he slowed down the seconds on our watches and he said only those who believe could see. He turned the leaf to another color. He said he had angels guarding him and I felt the wind. Crazy things and I could say crazy man, but he planted a seed in me. Another Christian artist released his song called Found and then I opened the bible on a random page, and he said “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.” Luke 15:4-5. God has never left my side. He speaks directly to me through his words and his people. We are children of God. Yes, you are too. You are lost but now found. Call out the name of Jesus he will give you peace and remove the burden you are carrying. a sinner but changed <3 we are children of God "Seek, and you will find," Jesus says. Matthew 11:28-30 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Ephesians 3:17-19 God loved you first. “This is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” 1 John 4:10 God lavishes His love on you. come back home to Jesus
